  5. DM 1–2 hiring leaders post-application with a short, value-forward message

DAY 2 – Thought Leadership (Post #1)

Phase: Establishing Yourself as a Thought Leader

  1. Publish a LinkedIn post sharing a leadership insight, transformation, or hard-won lesson

  2. Start with a scroll-stopping first line that hits a real pain point

  3. Close with a CTA: “Anyone else experienced this lately?”

DAY 3 – Warm Virtual Networking

Phase: Virtual Networking

  1. Reconnect with 5 past colleagues, mentors, or respected peers — start with curiosity, not a pitch

  2. Engage with 5 relevant industry posts — add thoughtful comments, not emojis

  3. Update your LinkedIn About section to reflect your current goals and positioning

Deliverable: 5 warm re-connections + refreshed executive profile

DAY 4 – In-Person Networking

Phase: In-Person Networking

  1. Schedule 1–2 coffee meetups or lunches with trusted contacts

  2. RSVP to an executive meetup, roundtable, or networking event

  3. Prep a QR code or business card that links to your updated LinkedIn profile

DAY 5 – Thought Leadership (Post #2)

  2. Ask: “What’s a challenge your team’s working through right now?”

DAY 6 – Cold Virtual Outreach

Phase: Virtual Networking

  1. Identify 5 new potential connections — recruiters, execs, or hiring leaders

  2. Send personalized, low-pressure connection messages (1–2 sentences max)

  3. Follow up on earlier convos from this week

Deliverable: 5 new connections + 2 follow-ups = momentum building

DAY 7 – Reflect & Recalibrate

Phase: In-Person + Strategy Reset

  1. Reflect:
     → What worked this week?
     → What felt like a drain?
     → What action led to connection?

  2. Follow up with your in-person contacts

  3. Lock in your next 1–2 in-person events or meetings for next week

Deliverable: Insight + plan = refined approach for Week 2
